  • Happy Tuesday to everyone except these spineless companies bowing to China! Shaming 00:06 - Dobre 4:26 - TIA 7:25 - China/NBA/Blizzard 9:28

    • Damnit Philip, I have to disagree with you once here. Blizzard is not saying that money is more important than free speech. The dude violated a legally binding contract, that he signed, and said some shit that he just should not have. He could have said "All hail the new 5th Reich, LONG LIVE HITLER" and he would have gotten the same punishment. They gave him a chance to be sportsman-like, and he failed. He could have left with a "Yeah, I had fun. The decks were well made, and it was a great time competing here at the professional level" and nothing would have happened. No breach of contract. Personally, I am glad he spoke up. Him saying that, is now being seen by millions, if not billions. But no matter what the cause, he broke the contract, and got the punishment. Think of it from the other side as well. Blizzard is owned by Activision. Activision is in business with TenCent. TenCent represents about 37% of Activision's annual income. TenCent has pull. If they left the deal with Activision, Activision would have to put thousands, IF NOT HUNDREDS-OF-THOUSANDS of their employees out of work. Could you imagine the economic crisis that would arise if that happened? What is the balance of costs here? Thousands of families now probably going bankrupt, and losing everything they own? Dozens of people from Hong Kong being kidnapped and tortured for just having a different view on politics? No matter what, somebody is going to get fucked, and the best decision to make would be the one that has the least amount of causalities. This whole issue is bigger and more important than some dipshit violating his contract. And to be honest, I am 100% sure he knew that would happen. Good Noodle star to him for doing it. But he could have cost hundreds-of-thousands of people their very livelyhood. However, him speaking up? Probably did nothing particularly productive.

    • 肉红烧 Fuck Off ya little prick! #StandWithHK

    • Great ending to this video

    • Please cover the Anne Sacoolas diplomatic immunity story. The story is being hushed up. She's the wife of a US diplomat who ran over and killed a British teen with her car and fled the UK claiming diplomatic immunity. Edit: @philipdefranco

    • Hey Mr DeFranco, this companies have spent hundreds of milion of dolars or even more to promote sports not politics. These people who suport a noble cause (Hong Kong) used the fan base grown by Blizzard and NBA to promote something that is not associated with sports. Is that fair?.If you have spine Mr DeFranco use your resources and help the cause, oh wait you do nothing just talking about other people actions not your own. Take action with your big fat spine bro ;)

  • I think keeping your social media profile business friendly is good, and posting a bathing suit picture is completely fine. I guess a little unprofessional for an account being shared with work, but it’s nothing worth literally shaming a woman for. And posting it on their story? Really? That’s more unprofessional than a bikini pic.

  • That CEO is jealous AF of that young woman in the red bathing suit!

  • How is it that those companies do not forsee the backlash after selling out to china, have they not heard of the internet and its communities?

  • This just in: having a body is unprofessional

  • I really want to understand how his tweet hurt someone more than his silence is

  • oh btw, I just subscribed!

  • China is a very real threat to western values. Their idea of living is very different. US fact any western company should be VERY careful when dealing with China. They are 'different'. Let them have theirs. If they want western content, they can have it BUT without censorship - we don't do that here!

  • 99% of comments are idiotic and reflect how ignorant the average citizen is ... pathetic

  • Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our age. Fight for Freedom, Stand With Hong Kong! BOYCOTT CHINA PRODUCTS!!!!!

  • I don't see Blizzard recovering from this anytime soon. They REALLY showed their true colors with this. Screw them.

  • As a Sailor stationed in the South China Sea, I'm watching all this unfold (metaphorically) right outside my ship. Chinese activity is very heavy out here, and let it be clear that we in the 7th Fleet heavily support freeing Hong Kong from Communist control. We'd support them more, but that would involve going to war, and we can't have that. On the other side, it's shameful to see Corporate America playing into and cowering to the Enemies of Democracy. It's like stabbing us in the back, and I LOVE Blizzard (Big Overwatch player), so that just makes me all the more disgusted at this shameful betrayal. I wish I could do more to make people see that Money may talk, so we the people need to speak louder.

  • Gg to south park and the creators.

  • All peoples have the right to self government.

  • You’re the man Phil

  • Malaysia prohibited me from watching South Park's "Band in China" episode. Fuck Malaysia, man.

  • Ok can i ask i swear china has a Social credit score like some people cant leave the country and other things

  • I feel like that “I like trains” kid where I’ll be watching a video and as soon as the FR-tv mentions “raid” I feel like I’ve been hit by a train.

  • So about kickass masterminds ive got to say a bikini pic really aint that bad like what if a guy was at the gym and made a shirtless pic they would not react the same way

  • Brave of you to call a massive company cowards when you have refused to cover Onision and his victims. Spineless hypocrite.

  • Meet and greets are just fucking awkward regardless, I've only done one and it felt like they were performing monkey's. They were totally lovely but I felt really uncomfortable that they were being paid to be nice to me

  • Fuck blizzard. Damn. I was excited for warcraft classic, but nope. Done.

  • That’s a scumbag move by Kickass Masterminds

  • 16:35 I think this went over my head. Was that sarcasm from the South Park creators, because if not, I'll be truely sad.

  • FREE HONG KONG. F Blizzard Activision and their rapist child abusing censoring overlords.

  • To me it's fine to look at it but to make a post to the public is wrong

  • If Blizzard are cowards why dont you go ahead and say the word "nigger" in a respectful way on youtube? Since you got freedom of speech and all...

  • So I guess the NBA & Blizzard love communism then maybe they should both move to China.

  • LORD Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden (and others) have made videos on the Dobre Brothers amd I'm not buying the tired excuse because they literally don't FUCKING try at anything. Like look at they're videos, y'all high? Wtf

  • So there is one thing that republicans and democrats can agree on I thought that was a lost cause

  • Gosh humans are always so fake, making up excuses and insincere apologies to get out of a controversial situation without loosing too much money

  • Yes

  • Also, how about white people just kinda like...learn to shut up and stop trying to get involved in political matters within other countries?

  • Welp, honestly, it feels good seeing America and American companies being "bullied" after this past near-century of America bullying other countries ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • For larger companies, it makes sense to want employees keeping their bikini photos private. There is a difference between posting those photos for /everyone/ to see, and having the photos taken while you're out living your life or sharing them for your friend/family to see. There is a tinge of slut-shaming, but frankly, not wanting people who are "slutty" is justifiable. There is a societal stigma and having certain kinds of people employed will reflect poorly on your company. That being said, this company is absolutely NOT one of the companies that is justified in having such stringent expectations from their employees, unless the CEO was an ambitious, stern, business-oriented person who saw the company going places (doesn't seem to be the case). And I can see jealousy being the reason for posting the story. Hypocritical to have your /undergarment/ in a post, but find it unacceptable for an employee to be wearing something that is not an undergarment but an outfit for swimming.

  • So the company name is kickass masterminds and they got upset a woman wearing a revealing bathing suit and they call her unprofessional they're name is unprofessional

  • Can we just round up all the communists, kneecap them and hurl them off a roof?

  • Well said. - Also China kidnaped the Panchen Lama.. and well.. does countless horrible things on a pretty regular basis.

  • As if you’re one to talk Shillip. You have FR-tv’s pro corporate/anti-creator hand so far up your ass that I’d call you just as big of a coward as them.

  • It's funny how sjws barely bring up all the atrocities China does

  • 15:28 I subbed instantly.

  • So this is what sellout looks like

  • Defranco calling people cowards? Is this irony or hipocrisy day?

  • China is a mob boss. Don't fuck with the business or you die. Yeah no thanks.

  • Defranco is a clown and so is blizzard/china.

  • Hahahaha gotta love conservative republicans talking about defending human rights.... yeah except when its human rights they dont agree with like gay marriage, a womans choice to make her own decisions about her body, gay conversation therapyor refugees fleeing gangs, violence or war zones. When its the big bad communist foreigners attacking human rights they stand for those rights... when its evangelicals attacking human rights they gotta secure those votes!! Hmm i guess human rights are for sell ted cruz....

  • You actually have no idea what your talking about. Nearly all companies here in hong Kong have contracts with their employees which specify that they are not allowed to publicly speak or take part in any protests against the Chinese and Hong Kong government as it could cause massive backlash from china. And obv blizzard priorities business in China (one of their biggest markets) over a streamer which broke his contract on the social media side of things by harming the company.

  • Its only when a person has something to lose that you truly discover their character....or lack of.

  • I don't watch the NBA or play Blizzard games anymore.

  • I would have to side with the business. That photo of her is a red flag for " warning-you are about to hire a self-absorbed girl who may or may not be using her body to get a job, either way a person like this is the kind of employee who is in it for #1, and wouldn't make sacrifices for a team or a business. And this might be a person that I would be hiring who obviously cant distinguish professionalism from expressing her appreciation for her body so i sure as hell am not going to let her market my company unless my company" so..... thats what i think....... but dick move for publicly shaming her i guess.

  • You want to see real change in China, force the government to ban everything the Chinese people love. China is working hard to keep the Chinese people pacified. That can quickly be undone if the Chinese people start to feel very isolated

  • "No one's ever going to be perfect." Ironic, considering how perfect Philip DeFranco is.

  • "We are sorry for our unprofessional outburst. We did not mean to offend the regime that is responsible for more crimes against humanity than Joseph Stalin. We love the rich cultural transitions and wisdom of the genocidal Communist Party." -NBA

  • Dobre bros: backflips Okay, but Dobre bros: B A C K F L I P S Yeah but- Dobre bros: ONLY *BACKFLIPS*

  • I'm calling it, WW3 before I graduate.

  • Eh, you know, a private company has employees it needs to worry about, so I understand.

  • Freedom of speech and expression, therefore, may not be recognized as being absolute, and common limitations or boundaries to freedom of speech relate to ...........SEDITION, INCITEMENT, FIGHTING WORDS,..........., PUBLIC SECURITY, and perjury. So in your opinion, Chinese national security is not a matter of national security? Incitement in China is not incitement? What an arrogant attitude to express double standard. This is basically like shouting out "freedom of speech" and "human right" in the last scene of that new JOKER film. Do some more research about the massive violence caused by the "protesters", and Fuck you hypocrite.

  • A lot of people post beach photos in their swimsuits. If you think them having fun in their bathing suits is tOO unProFessiOnal maybe learn how to take the stick out of your ass. Ppl have fun and post it to social media. Oh the fucking humanity.

  • Story one is a good example of most women’s struggles falling at the hands of other women. Women are brutal to other women and somehow it’s the patriarchy’s fault. Lol
